I wouldn't, but I'm not Wilson. That's a VERY low price for the 9th overall in a deep draft. I'd expect they'd want a prime prospect like McCann, Virtanen or Horvat included. Bieksa's a straight cap dump and Markstrom's not ready to be the starter unless they want to go with Neimi another year. There's not likely to be a great player available at 23 that will help them. Highly unlikely I say.

Nope. Not in the state their franchise is in lacking prospect depth.

They've got Stalock so Markstrom at best would be a 1B if he makes good on his potential, which I think will be less than advertised a few years ago.

Bieksa might form an interesting partnership with Burns but more likely he'll link up with Braun on the 2nd pairing. They need more youth at D and Werenski might still be available at #9.

#23 they might be able to draft a decent D to make up for the D they missed out on at #9.
