I look at all these line up changes that everyone here is putting and it is just really shuffling the deck and getting the same crappy hands.

I have been calling for two months to go after Lucic. That is real change. We got manhandled in the playoffs, putting Higgins on the third line instead of the second , or moving Richardson up to the third line from the fourth. These proposals are weak.

If you really want change then you have to get rid of the old and bring in the new. Lucic is definitely required on this team of Marshmellows . I hope the hell it happens.

I'm pretty sure everyone's proposed lineup was based on the reality of what we have currently on the team and on the farm. Mine was anyway. I didn't see any of the proposals speculate on players coming back in trade but if you do what to speculate on that route you could literally post almost any line-up and give Eklund a run for his money.

As far as I know Buffalo don't have an NHL goalie but have plenty of picks and prospects. I like the #31 pick for Lack, but Benning seems to prefer prospects given they've had a few years to mature. BUF has plenty to choose from.

I see what you're saying. But my honest take on our prospect pool: even if all of them played to their expected potential we still don't have a good team. We need a lot of guys to exceed expectations, have few to no busts, and also acquire a couple bluechip prospects before we can get excited about our chances.

with the cap floor at 52. The rest of Buffalo's line up is going to be entry level contracts. We should be pushing Miller on them. Get's them above the cap floor and give's them a veteran goalie to lead the youth. Allows them to draft and develop a goalie for the next 2 years.

Probably right but if they don't get a goalie they are going to be the oilers of the East. FA market, going to overpay for a goalie who probably wouldn't put up the same numbers as Miller did this year.
