Edler is a good option to move. He is likely our best dman, but his wonky back limits his ability to perform. If he isn't hitting or getting hit, he is okay, but when he is aggressive, he can be a game changer, but when he gets aggressive, he gets hurt.

three draft picks recouped is huge. Wish that would have happened at the trade deadline. If we can get rid of three contracts that's 3 new players in the line up for next season. That's a whole forward line. If they bring in 4 players every year for 5 years we have an entirely new team. Good drafting, would have a fantastic young team in 5 years.

I was thinking after I posted that, vet forward- wasn't thinking of Vrbata, but wouldn't be against him going if there is some friction between him and the Sedins. So when I was saying vet forward, was thinking along the lines of Higgins, Burrows, maybe Hansen, Bonino or Vey if a centre or something intriguing was coming back.
