was something announced?!?!?!?! - Guile
not yet but we can hope.

Want to correct myself (as much as can be done now): "Imminent" was a poor word choice in Sutter post. Traded, yes. Today/tomorrow, no.
He said in a tweet earlier trade was imminent. But wanted to say 'very much likely" |

Oduya was extremely beat up during the postseason. He wouldn't be bad for a couple years. Hejda and Jackman are both scuderi 2.0. There's a reason why the Blues aren't remotely interested in resigning him even when they need defense. 3 of Rob Scuderi on a team is a recipe for disaster. - drummer829
That's a problem with this market. If you don't want to pay big for a guy like Fransen but want just a decent 2nd pairing guy, there isn't much out there. I'd actually be open to an Ehrhoff return but that doesn't look like it's happening. Odulya is one of the few options and again you worry about decline. |

It was a typing error. He meant 50% - cap1681
well superhenderson said it was 100% true so i'm going to be interested in seeing how he turns 29.2 mil into 50 mil. or how he illustrates 29.2 being 50% of 69 mil |

The Kings are taking a page from just about every NFL team...Stoll faces up to 4 yrs! - sammy87
he'll never see a jail cell.
first time offender with star power?
go to court, get your fine and move on.
now whether the league suspends him is a different story. i would imagine something happens but i dont know how long. |

Just saw this online
Scuderi for mike Richards and LA retains 2.3 mil
Would you do it?
Would you do it if you send sutter somewhere for a pick and prospect? - nh4442
LA would have to retain half of his cap hit and give back a 2nd rounder to make it even worth considering. That way it is a neutral cap hit for the 2 years of Scuderi's contract and the hope that the prospect can contribute on an entry level deal in a few years.
Mike Richards the player is almost of no value. It would be a bonus if he got it together and was able to contribute. |

Mike Richards the player is almost of no value. It would be a bonus if he got it together and was able to contribute but I'm not sure you can even count on him being a productive 4th liner at this point. Its a shame because he was such a good player back in the Philly days. - MacPatty
I hope Richards returns to some form and not just one of the worst players after a big deal in recent history... but, I don't want us taking that risk. |

Yeah I realize that which is sad. Now, to be fair 4 yrs is huge penalty for a non violent crime. |

i agree with you 100% on both counts. him doing cocaine is a pretty victimless crime (other than himself) in my opinion. no harm, no foul.
but in the interest of not bringing political and justice reform to this hockey board, ill leave it at that. |

You would be spending 3.45 per year for the next five on a crappy player at the age of 30. Mike Richards is worthless.
At least Scuderi is off the books in two years. Strange as it sounds, I pass. Richards would frustrate most of us. He is worse than Sutter. - Oneonta Penguin
Good arguement. Not my idea but it was intriguing to get scuds off book and have something pens could use in return.
I still like my idea of going after the obtainable Ufa's of tlusty boedker and kadri and even stem for wbs and trading kuni sutter and spaling for picks. Then fill with with kap sund and winnik and bb.
Pens just don't have the assets for a trade for oshie kessel etc.. |

Too bad Erin Andrews wasn't there as well. I can't stand her. |

Kadri is an RFA. If we are poaching an RFA, there are seven or eight I'd poach before him. He shot out of the gate in Toronto like a crown jewel and has faltered since.
39 points in 77 games isn't great considering Toronto is still thought of an as offensive minded team. |

Maybe Oshie, but not Kessel or Sharp. I think an offer sheet for Pulk would cost a 2nd? Not a bad move IMO. STL doesn't really need a C though.
The week before and after the 4th is dead slow for me....I wish things would start happening... |

you want to talk about fake human beings, she seems like Exhibit A. I could see her putting on her smile every day and looking pretty but being a huge diva and stuck up behind the scenes.
it's too bad so many girls look up to women like her... people who get things based on their looks. it's very rare to see women in places like sports and financial media who are actually very knowledge about their respective subjects and arent just there for their looks. there are some, but not many. |

Hearing her 911 call crying about how important she is completely ruined it for me. She just comes off as the biggest b!tch. |

Ok... so, 1st round pick, A level prospect, or a young on ELC... that sounds a lot more reasonable. Thank you... still no on him regardless. - Guile
Never thought Sharp would be a fit for the Pens. Older roster needing to get younger. Lots of clutch older players with great experience closing out teams in the playoffs....
Artemi Panarin, Kyle Baun, and Tanner Kero would have been great young additions for the Pens... Oh, wait.....
Still time on Mike Reilly though. Keep hope alive.
Maybe that Saad offer sheet can bring him back to his hometown? Woops. |

Yeah her and Brit Mchenry are pretty low. Not sure why you would strive to be someone who can look pretty and hold a microphone.....seems like you would want more out of life.

What about Reilly Smith as a top 6 option ? 20g 50pts two years ago but had a decline in production this year and was in Juliens doghouse at times. He's young and is signed for 2 more years. Maybe for Harrington+ ? |

I don't think we can afford Saad... We'd love him here, but you guys will match almost anything that isn't absurd.
I am hearing we are 3rd in the running for Reilly... but with Crosby and Mario cooing in his ear, we could steal him. |
