I don't think he would sign that long for that little... Honestly. Not that he even thinks he's worth more ,one term now, but he likley wants more long term.

2 or 3 yrs tops,$4-4.5 M

Should be 2 year max. The team will be starting to round into shape after that.

shouldnt be an issue how much they sign him for, we have tons of money, id even be fine giving him 5 for 2 years...it will cost 6 after if we want to resign him, but at least we will know if hes a #1 by then or not. (id imagine)

Ya that's the issue, 2 hyrs from now we want goaltending solved. We want to know who the long term starter is, cause it "supposed" to be time to start building from here. You want a rock in goal by then.

Better than Vancouver Island or the West Kottenays? Awesome.
- HonkyTonkMan

Been to both - several times. To be honest I couldn't choose one over the other. (Although down town Victoria would hurt the score a bit, but I won't let it sway my opinion on the rest of the Island and upper North West.)

Canada is something else when you take the time to see it.

I gotta get my kid out there to see this amazing country.

can you elaborate on that plan?
2 years then find another Goalie or re-sign him again?

After 2 years we will know for sure what he is for the Leafs. He is or is not a #1.

How is that.

No blame. His issue was untimely goals. There were times he looked like he was not paying attention. Every game a bad goal. He should lead us to a #3 pick this year.

No we really don't have tons of money. We still have a cap and don't want to be sandbagged with crappy contracts. I don't know why people think the leafs will just take any crappy contract bag in any trade. This team needs flexibility.

True, but there are just some things I don't like about his game - but they may be fixable. I also think his age and the rebuild don't quite mesh.
