Brossoit is a decent prospect but you guys have a big streaming pile of poop otherwise. I'd trade for Lack before:

Talbot - played on a much stronger team, given easy starts
Lehner - hasn't done poop, not even that great in the AHL
Anderson - like him quite a bit but age is an issue
Niemi - meh


Bernier is the one I'd take over Lack but he's going to cost more. If the Flames needed a goalie badly, of easily trade an early 2nd for Lack. When you draft a goalie in the 2nd, you'd be pretty happy if he develops like Lack has so far. His only bad year as a pro was when he was playing through a bad hip in the AHL and needed surgery during the season, outside of that he's been rock solid on the AHL and NHL.

He was playing as well as Luongo in 2013/2014 before Torts decided to go full tard and give him like 30 straight starts which is stupid as hell since it was Lack's first legit season in the NHL. Then he was flat out better than Miller this year.

Totally agree that he hasn't done poop in the NHL but I am pretty sure he won something like 14/16 games and was named the Calder Cup MVP when Bingo won it.

He has all the tools to be a great goaltender but he needs more starts to become consistent IMO. At best I think Ottawa could maybe get a 2nd for him but I personally don't expect anything more
