Corey Crawford's name is popping up as a potential trade candidate because the Hawks will have to choose between him and Seabrook when his contract runs out next year. I'd rather see the Hawks keep Crawford, but going to have to choose between them.

Oilers need a goalie. Hawks have one to potentially trade. Good trade partners for this. I think it wouldn't be crazy:

Crawford for #16 overall pick and Draisaitl. + a Pony

I know people will probably not like including Draisaitl, but CC is a hell of a goalie and has 2 cups on his resume.

If your going to trade the 16th overall pick, it better be for a legitimate top 2 defensemen. Lets improve our defence first, and reduce quality scoring chances against us, our mediocre goalies we have now WILL improve because of it! If not, then we can look for a goalie.

That might work, but I barely doubt that Chicago will trade away Crawford, isn't he part of the core?
But I still don't like the idea of Crawford; too costly and he can crack sometimes; however, he does come up big in big game moments.

I like Rundblad and his style of play. He may need to improve his defensive side, but he can really be a great Top 4 TW defender on any team if he develops nicely (It seems he has been developing nicely too).

He is like Justin Schultz 3.0; bigger, more aggressive, and offensive defender.
That can make Schultz expendable if he deosn't improve this season at all.

Rundblad can definitely play a top 4 role, just not a top 2, plus he is a right hand shooter!

Would you go with the guy that has experience or the guy that is jsut starting to find his groove?

He did great in the regular season.

Idk why, but he might turn into something that count be beneficial for the Oilers in the long run; he has the tools and he is showing it. His defensive side does need some development, but he woudl be an interesting choice.

Honestly man he sucks...he is soft and turns over the puck like its his day job. There is a reason why he has been traded 3 times already.

Hawks wont waste the cap space on qualifying him, he will be a free agent, especially if they sign that Reilly kid
