Still my fav.

I remember when he died and HBO played all of his specials in a row. I stayed up all night watching them.

He did some poop that was so amazing. I don't think there will ever be a better opener than "how come all these anti abortion crusaders are women you wouldn't want to (frank) in the first place"

- PhillySportsGuy

I never heard that before, but I just read the full transcript of it, and it's one of the best pro-choice arguments I've ever heard.

Isn't sales in general unethical?
- Jsaquella

sales is unethical. I bet 90% something is exaggerated to get the deal done.

Pacioretty?
- Duran76

In hindsight drafting, sure. But I don't know who they would have picked with McDonagh off the board.

and on a side note- leafs writer says one of the 8 destinations kessel would go to is philly. I know I'm personally not intrigued by it, huge cap hit, giving up assets, his lack of playing defense. That being said, if it happened, I wouldn't be all that pissed (assuming the leafs didn't fleece us)
- benjichronic

If you look at the 8 teams on his list it really makes his limited no trade clause a complete no trade clause. All of the teams are pretty much cap strapped.

If he wants out and they want to trade him he's going to have to open up that list to make it happen.

shocked with all the baseball talk in here yesterday there was not a single reply to the NYT link about the cardinals being investigated by the fbi for hacking into the astros network.

Someone (maybe you) brought it up before.

Quick question: I heard they were looking at things like scouting reports. So, unless they were looking to "steal" a player that they like but the Astros don't, this seems like a case of laziness, not caring to do your own scouting reports of other teams' prospects. Is this what they were after? I'm not sure what they were trying to gain.

Probably looking to see if the Astros had the same book on guys, or determine if they could get an edge in trades, by knowing how much the 'Stros liked a particular player

I liked that other sign they had, that more or less said, "Conform and like it, or get out," that was posted in their locker room.
