I don't think so. I'm not a fan of Lebron, but I respect his SICK talent!

The Best Player in the World certainly doesn't need excuses, the way he simply held his head, when his team was STILL TRYING to win the game! It was inexcusable, I've never seen anything like it, it was as if he had decided it was over. Delly and J.R. Smith start nailing 3's and next thing we know its a 6pt game with over a minute to play! 2 Shots!

Where was James, was he franticly trying to keep the team hyped up and ready to make a play? Nope, just walking around like I'm done, so I'll just brick three straight shots with a Championship on the line, I mean his body language alone while shooting was defeated!

I've NEVER seen that in JORDAN, BRADY, KOBE, TOEWS there is something missing and its not TALENT, he is TALENTED in spades, it will be interesting how Cleveland gets that rostor improved and or healthy.

You make me happy, just knowing how much you care

P.s. What do you think about OFFER SHEETING???

Would you support it? Who would you think we would have the best chance of snagging?

- MEBSabresFAN

It would be a horrible move. Tarasenko would cost 4 first round draft picks.

I would offer Sheet him up to the 2nd Highest Level, think its like 7.3 Million over 7
I think thats 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

He just fits as our "Patty Kane" and would be a beast with Rinehart or Echiel!

- MEBSabresFAN

The second level is two first, a second, and a third. If the Sabres like what they have already drafted, I think I would do it.

But I think St Louis wants to retool instead of rebuild. If that is the case, they match an offer of Tarasenko

No I believe the changed the Picks against the Cap rewards

You can go up to like 7.3 or 7.4 and its the 2nd highest teir, after that amount its 4 1st rounders.

I would take him for a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, and pay up for that top end talent take him for 7 yrs!

Instead of offer sheeting Tarasenko, and giving up a poop load of picks

try to prey steen in a trade

or shattenkirk

I do believe the Blues know they have to get to work, I just hope Murray is all over it, cause if they match, we need to focus on who they let go......

I understand the RFA tender compensation. And it would cost 4 1st round picks for st louis not to match.

it would be a long term contract, and on the books when the kids need to get paid

not a deal breaker but something to consider

I guess if you think he becomes a 5 time all star player for the next 7 years, it makes sense

Thanks

I just think its worth a shot and be there to sweep up if they match, hell Murray could offer up a good trade that benefits both teams if they were willing to negotiate, wouldn't be a bad move to at least work within the rules and be wise about it

Read somewhere on HFboards (i don't know if this rule has changed or not) but as i remember it offer sheets greater than 5 years have the total contract number divided by 5 to determine compensation

so while 49mil over 7 on paper would be two firsts a second and a third it would actually be calculated as 49/5 which would require four firsts as compensation. Not sure if this rule is still around or not

True........

Why do I find it so easy to spend Terry's money.........I just wouldn't worry about some kind of NHL hatred on Murray, based upon the teams that have done it, Philly, Edmonton, there are more, but I doubt a GM would shut out a possible chance to make their team better and hold a grudge over it.....

"As expected, the salaries necessary to get the biggest compensation are higher than ever before, meaning a team could offer up to $3.65M per year to a restricted free agent, have a team not agree to the deal, and only forfeit a second round pick."

Wow....thats some fine print, I guess you offer up to the actual threshold of that second teir, I wouldn't want to give up 4 1st Round Choices to do it......

So I guess, the Accountant Numbers men/women would have to extend length or mix the amount with length etc....He would be crazy not to sign it......He'd be giving up MILLIONS , St. Louis would have to make a very hard decision, thats why its tempting, if that team had major Cap room, I wouldn't even bother....

A rebuilding team could take that chance on grigorenko, especially if they can offer him the ice time.

you could do it on 4 years but then you run the risk of losing the player to free agency.
