It was always just pure logic and common sense that the draft is in fact completely blind and random, the owners would not allow it otherwise. It was nice this year that Edmonton win put that whole thing to rest, not that it wasn't already obvious that the rig theory was insane.

I used to think the SCF were rigged. After a long period of nothing we kept having Canadian teams vs Sunbelt teams in the finals....looked a bit suspicious....if we had a Nashville/Habs final in 08 or whenever I would have been convinced.
