Silly God...The Leafs would play Backstrom for all 82 games...well 30+ because let's face it, he'll be injured, a lot. That's a great way to insure a top-5 pick.

The team is not about tanking.. if they play well and lose that's ok... but under no circumstance will they display zero effort anymore..

Yeah, I agree Babcock would do that. He had no problem starting Mrazek over Howard in the playoffs this year.
I also agree with that view. Hope it happens. I just trying to pander to the "Tank Nation" crowd.

Tampa's lineup on paper is not intimidating at all.

Stamkos and Hedman are good, but other than that, there are no "superstars"

They even have a few bad contracts (Garrison, Stralman)

Leafs can be this good in 2-3 years (and were great on paper to start last year)

Only difference is they play a good system via good coaching
