Just because the team(s) we cheer for are bad it doesn't give a free pass to the stupid things that other teams and their fan bases do or say.

Edmonton not making the playoffs for close to a decade doesn't mean that it's ok that Buffalo finished dead last in the NHL the past two seasons does it?

I remember that night, I was like ok, nobody ever, ever scores two goals with the goalie pulled. This is like needing two grand slams in an inning to not get eliminated.

The way the Leafs lost that game was like seeing an alien land. It's never happened in hockey history.

All three teams are getting what they need now though...they're all getting high picks and new coaching and/or management. I'd love to see all three teams be like what Chicago, LA and Pitt have been after bottoming out. If the worm turns for TO, E-town and the other one that would be pretty cool. I'd like to see all the Cdn teams in the playoffs for sure.

Yeah I just think, and have no doubt, that Shanny and company are looking at the Oilers rebuild and analyzing it year by year to get an edge. The best thing the Leafs can do once the tear down is complete is start getting young players that maybe fell off somewhere and see if Babcock can rework them. Cheap reclamation projects that won't hamper your draft position but can develop with the team. There's tones of them.

I think Dumba would be a good fit but Koivu is too old for where the Leafs are. If you had to take him for cap reasons, maybe, but then you would need more in return I think.
