No papers/TV news/sites for me except 5-10 minutes of the CP24 website for me each morning. So the stuff Cox wrote in the Star was news to me. I just read MIB post each day and watch the kiddies fight in the message board for my daily Leaf intake.

Usually it's good because it sets a tone for conversation, and lately, I just come to Mikes blog for all my latest news cause he's on the ball, and if it's a good bit of news I can go right to talking to you (frank)s abouts it. Mostly though gives us something to talk about.

Find it hard to believe that they are gonna move Kessell, Phaneauf, Gardiner, Lupul, etc on draft day. Doesn't leave much room for error, especially without an experienced GM

I bet Phaneuf, Bozak, and Lupul all get moved before Kessel. I actually can't see how both Lupul and Phaneuf are back next year. I expect both to be traded.

Kessels deal is just massive. So is Phaneuf, but you're expected to eat some salary there. Phil truly is an 8 million dollar player, and I think that's what Shanahan say if the Leafs are asked to retain salary

To much money and to many years on the deal for most teams. The teams that are probably all in (Arizona, Florida, etc), Phil likely won't accept a trade to.

If the Leafs literally eat half of Phan salary

Deals I wish would happen but never will. Leafs trade for Kessel for Strome (part of a bigger deal) if they draft Strome. Leafs somehow trade Phaneuf or Gards to Edmonton for Yak or drsomethingsomething as part of another bigger deal, come out of all that with two first rounders still and trade Lupul and Bozak to anywhere for 2nd or 1st picks or prospects.
