I hope, but I don't see it with the way the league is.

The best 2nd line in hockey had guys at 65 points.

Personally, Reinhart is going to be more valuable in an all around role

- sbroads24

his wingers will determine a lot

he can be a backstrom if flanked with the right snipers

molson is not one of them
ennis may be

I really think they need 2 more wingers, and a top 4 d man still

I really, really hope the league is serious when it says they are taking a hard look at cracking down on obstruction, hooking, etc. again and going back to the way the rules were called after the season long lockout.

That would bring a lot of scoring and fun back to the game instead of it constantly looking like a grind and always being played along the boards.

I am sick of the constant cycle as if that is enjoyable to watch endlessly.

They could forget needing to make the nets larger if they just do the above.

I do think some of the interference that gets let go prevents injuries. Especially when a defensemen chases the puck in his own corner, and his partner interferes with the forechecker. But overall I agree they need to call much more

one more reason why the sabres need to improve their special teams, and the only reason I think they should consider going after J. Staal

I like Hagelin but I think Stepan is the better target for the team, unless you are a monster believer in Larsson as a center going forward.

It would ideal to have Eichel be the top line C, Stepan as the 3rd line C, and then allow either Girgensons or Reinhart to be the 2nd line C while the other plays the wing on the same line.

- kingcong39

Stepan's a skill guy averaging around 60 pts for his career. It'd be criminal to have him on the third line. I have to imagine he's NYR's top priority.

Bahahahaha.

Typical.

Lose the argument and completely change the subject.

What's next, personal attacks?

Let me guess, my mother wears army boots.

You are the reason I enjoy hopping on these message boards.

That is what made the Sabres so good after the lockout. Four lines rolling and fun to watch.

Reinhart could be a top line center in that kind of game.

he needs to leave the driver in the hotel room for the next 6 months

so what if he hits an 8 iron instead of a pw

- homiedclown

It's painful to watch him. I've never been a Woods fan but yesterday was sad. He needs to go back to Butch and start over.

if you can get staal and nash for pennies on the dollar, they have the cap space for the next 4 years

assuming they can dump coho

ton of upside

I see him as a 20g 60 assist player once settled

- homiedclown

Now you are projecting him out to have more points than Malkin?

Lofty expectations don't you think?

Rose is solid for 3-4 tournaments a year, that's about it. Watch him at tiger's tournament in a few weeks at Congressional.

And I know you're a Woods fan. You're right, he can't compete for 4 rounds with that swing. McIlroy, Day, Spieth, Bubba and DJ can all do laps around him right now. Adam Scott is falling into the same trap.

Argument: a discussion involving differing points of view; debate:
They were deeply involved in an argument about inflation.

I respectfully disagree as they are one in the same.

if karlsson was a better prospect, he would have been taken in the first round

may I suggest an excellent book for reading comprehension?

- homiedclown

Karlsonn was most certainly a 1st rd pick. Sounds like you need that same reading book. Reinhart is definitely not a top 15 player since Crosby. He is good, I'm VERY excited about him. I still would take him over Bennett and Leon even if they are better but he Prob will never score 80 points in the league. That is for the ELITE scorers in the league, just look at the league leaders. I have him more as a 55-65 pt top 2 way player
