I don't need to read the link, I've read the CBA, multiple times - MJL
But with your reading comprehension issues you might want someone to interpret. If you can't comprehend simple posts on a thread what would make anyone believe you can comprehend a complicated CBA?
The evidence doesn't skew in your direction. |

Toronto. I heard he's going to Toronto. Everyone loves Toronto. One of the guys from the TRIB during the playoffs said he saw Malkin's list of teams and the Leafs were there. - mayorofangrytown
That guy also said that Michael Jackson once stopped to use his bathroom. |

"Now, to make things just a little more confusing, when it determines the salary cap, the NHL doesn't use HRR. The league also subtracts Direct Costs from it. Those Direct Costs include "any costs, including fixed and variable costs, attributable to a revenue-generating activity" -- anything spent while accumulating HRR, including the salaries of employees whose duties contribute to the revenue activities."
JFC!!!! Some of the people on this thread!!! - mayorofangrytown
The author is adding in his own terminology, and saying the league doesn't use HRR. They absolutely do. Certain costs such as operating expenses for arenas and others expenses are accounted for when determining HRR. It can be looked at either way. |

Yea, you're right, I was the first poster on this website to learn and understand the salary cap, and share that knowledge, and anyone who has been on this site since the Cap was instituted knows that. Now I need someone to interpret!

I never bought into your CBA comprehension to begin with so this shouldn't come s a shock to you.
If anytime people think you're wrong or are misinterpreting something you think it's personal than a little introspection may be in order. |

No, it doesn't have anything to do with being wrong or misinterpreting something. That happens with everyone. It's personal simply because it's obvious you're making it personal. That's okay, have at it.
It doesn't matter whether you buy into it or not. My knowledge of the CBA and the salary cap has been proven over and over. |

I've been hunting up more video of Werenski, due to you singing his praises, and I gotta admit, he's impressive as Hell as a 17 year old in NCAA. I might have him ahead of Rantanen now.
Also, Zacha has risen for me, too. I conversed with a couple of scouts on twitter who raved about him and in the TSN rankings he's very highly rated. |

Werenski's moving quickly on my board as well. Offense, defense, speed and size.

It's an impressive physical package, but he looks very calm and cool in just about every highlight I've seen, too. Just an impressive looking young player. |

What a coincidence RippedFuel was just on the Fan590 saying it was always his dream to win the lottery and draft McDavid |

Yea I like him a lot. I thought 8 PIM for the year was incredible. Yes they say he needs to be more physical. But he's so solid all around and one of the youngest |
