someone offers lack for draisitl no body panics.... I make a good trade.. some people LOOSE THEIR MINDS...
It's true though - keep all those big 6 pieces up front. - AlfieisKing
Nope. We told him to piss off in not so many words. Thankfully, he didn't respond with 25 posts about how Lack is worth Draisaitl. Unlike some idiotic Jabroni we know that keeps going on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on about that mashed potato brain Robin (frank)ing Lehner. |

I think that's purely a matter of opinion.
Lehner's goalie coach was Henrik Lundqvuist's father. Their technique originally was thought to be very similar. As he's matured the resemblance - according to scouts (from sens and other articles on him) - was similar to Raask, who also was very competitive and struggled as a back up.
As far as unproved (as #1) goalies, the list is very small imo. Gibson, Allen, Vasilevskiy, Subban up there, beyond that I'll keep Lehner. All behind in dev too...Lehner's heaalth notwithstanding - AlfieisKing
I think you got that wrong. Lundqvist's coach was Lehner's father. His father used to get the cop called on him because he was strapping a goalie glove on Lehner and force him to catch 1000 baseball balls with a ball thrower. Neighbors where sick of earing little Lehner cry. Cops didn't do poop. Lehner is the next Price. Same path dudes. Just like Bishop (when you tried to lowball us) you'll miss the boat!!! And that's fine by me. I'm keeping Lehner. He's our next MVP! Just got to get is poop 2getter |

Ducks will not trade Gibson
Rags will not trade Talbot
STL will not trade Allen
These are G's that the team relies upon with not much certainty after....
The best bet for Oilers is FA market so no assets are given up.... |

Bernier is only 24 or 25 years old and has a lot of upside...It would cost at least 1st round and 2nd second next year! He was also draft it in first around and Leafs gave a lot for him. - jimboscore1
Welp. Leave it to a season ticket holder to grossly misplace value on something. |

I wouldn't worry about Lehner's health tbh. It's his mental health
and more importantly, it sounds like the Oilers need a stable #1 that will provide a backbone; a proven vet that can steal a game or two. In that case it's Anderson and the price would be that PIT pick OR the 33rd + 16th for andy and 18th, but I doubt even that. Sens have tons of players + prospects in the top 6 category. Ottawa needs a top line winger. Unless the real Bobby Ryan stands up.
Ya I like that train of thought. I've said it many times, the ceiling on Lehner, you don't get higher than that. His problem, aside from the obvious health and opportunity (taking advantage of) his temper is something that he needs to learn how to control or use to make his focus that much stronger. But being 21-23, he's only scratched the surface.
Get all the goalies you want but if you want a #1, Niemi, Anderson, and Talbot (not a sure thing) would be at the top of the list it looks like - AlfieisKing
Probably deserve a ban for belittling mental health. Reported!!!!! |

I don't mind giving up assets for a better player. Plenty are available if those guys are not ( which I'm sure they are not as well). |

Are the Oilers 1 G away from winning? No, so they just need a reliable, steady NHL G. More important they need Dmen, too many G on the market and possibly more on trade market which wouldn't cost as much in assets..
I'd rather go the FA route for G, use assets for Dmen.. |

D is the priority....but we have extra 2nds and 3rds, which is all any of the available goalies are worth. Chia put the word out to the GMs that the Penguins 1st rounder is on the table if anyone has defenders to sell. |
