I agree MacKinnon will be the best of them all one day. Johnson and Kucherov are first line pp for the Bolts and are doing it with a great supporting cast on the pp. However I can see both of them cracking 80+ points next year. I am at a loss to explain how the Avs were not able to build on a great 2013-14 season??

Terrible possession numbers and too many guys having career years, can't expect guys to have career years on top of career years.

Mainly they fell in love with the 2013-14 Avs and stretched out guys into roles they really arent meant to be in. Guenin isn't a Top 4 Dmen, Holden isn't a Shut down man, Mitchell isn't a true 3rd line C, Cliche isn't a regular PK and Bottom 6 Center. They put those guys in the same roles again and failed miserable. Team can be fixed just have to admit they were wrong on those guys and either AHL bound them or put them on waivers. Just not the right depth guys, that makes them a 2 line team to play against

This shows how much you know about hockey, one bad period where his team let him down as well. For this argument I will use this. Subban is a way better goalie than Hammond at the ahl level, so Hammond comes up and only loses one game in 20. The big picture says a young Subban will eventually be a top tier nhl goalie. Try watching a little ahl action, all young players need to start somewhere, just look at Johnson and Kucherov two dynamite players who developed in the AHL, Subban will follow.

For the record, I have been running a keeper league that started in 1979 and build through the amateur draft and we follow nhl criteria. I have players all over the nhl and love them all. HB will not allow me to change my name so I am stuck with it. I would love to change it as everyone thinks I am pro Philly, I am not. Jeff Carter has been gone for years. I was a bad boy and got suspended a few times and therefore HB want me on a short leash and will not allow a change. As for Del Zotto he had a great start and a awesome second half proving he can play. He is only 25 and if motivated could be really good, I know the Flyers want to resign him but have Lecavalier and Umberger who are making any deals almost impossible.

I never once alluded to the fact that Subban is not a good goalie or would not be a good goalie in the future. I did not imply that he was not a blue chip prospect, I never even mentioned that he wasn't a goalie worth acquiring. I merely stated some FACTS.

You said he had "no NHL on his resume yet" and I merely used FACTS to show that he did indeed play 31 minutes, which by the way is over one period. So maybe we should consider the FACTS before we start accusing someone of not knowing about hockey.
