Lol that is funny shiet. I'm glad he didn't become a female dog and go all Evander Kane. Glad to see the kid has class.
- Surrey-Oiler

That was some funny poop. Yak seems like a good natured kid...and Hendricks taught him a harmless lesson.

No i agree he's their best goalie. But I disagree that he is worth a first. And with the urgency to move one they will take the best offer and make the deal because they dont want to get stuck.
- Iggysbff

honestly, i think they'd prefer to keep the 3, and then waive hammond if he reverts, then they to just give one away in a trade

Unbelievable, you think the one guy who you wouldn't want is Lehner, a calder cup champion who put up huge numbers in the past but had ONE mediocre (not even bad) season recently with a Ottawa team that just plain struggled through the first 1/2 of the season? Cam Talbot, who was basically an Andrew Hammond for this season, but put up OK numbers in the past and is 5 years older than Lehner?
Typical "what have you done for me lately" thinking.

The bobfather has his rankings out...those seem to be pretty on par with what has been posted else where.

I am starting to fall in love with Zacha now

Though I don't blame people because it's also the typical "this fan's trying to sell me something " thinking but that last line is SO accurate; ESPECIALLY with goalies. Where the F*** is Cam Ward or Jimmy Howard (almost rookie of the year 5 years ago)? Meanwhile Dubie is in Vezina talk

I think hes in the correct spot for him, I think he slides a bit and is drafted by the Avs. I would like him as a pick at 10 if the Dmen are gone.

Zacha is the most interesting for me, C/W big and good hands. He could go at 5/6 or be at 12. Really cant peg this guy down

I really figured Strome would be battling with Hanifin at 3rd instead of being slotted in at 5th behind Marner though. He is a big centre with more points and goals than Marner, weird to see a RW slot higher than a centre.

Sorry I read Crouse instead of Strome, slow day for me. Yeah Strome is a bit down, but I think Marner is just so much more offensively gifted than Strome. Hanifin is a bit surprising at 4 over Strome

My top 5 would be
1. McDavid 2. Eichel 3. Strome 4. Hanifin 5. Marner with 4 and 5 being interchangeable depending on the what the team drafting there needs

Or typical over valued biased viewpoint of a player based on limited sample size.

I think Bob was right with having Marner above strome as I think hes a "better player" but hes a small guy, Strome just will get drafted beyond him bc hes the Big C with a lot of room to grow.

Its sort of like taking J Staal (6'4) over Toews (6'2) and Backstrom (6'1) in the 2006 draft. Pens went with the Huge C over the more complete players.

I liked his old format better where he would show all of the various rankings and then his consensus. Now all you get is the consensus and the ramblings of that idiot Button.

I think Strome is over rated. From the games I saw of him I wasn't really impressed. There is rumblings he might have had a minor injury though.

Don't know who EDM will take at 16 but did have multiple other scouts suggest EDM should be looking at RUS G Samsonov, No. 19 on our list.

Bob McKenzie ‏@TSNBobMcKenzie 13m13 minutes ago
Samsonov perceived by many as foundation/building block stopper, like Vasilevsky in TB, and EDM doesn't have one. Need patience, tho.

Surprised Elliott isn't in the mix.
Allen looks like the new #1 starter and I'm sure as hell Elliott would love to play somewhere where he gets the majority of the games.

Scrivens + 2nd for Elliot I can see happen

Scrivens can play backup under Allen for STL, and that 2nd rounder will be the bait.
I don't think we need to add anything else unless we make it into a package.

NHL Tandem
Elliot (Consistent, reminds me of Roli)
Bachman (Limited # of games played, but he has posted good numbers.

Speaking of a package with STL, do you think that

Scrivens + 2nd (2015) + Marincin + 2nd (2016) + 3rd (2016) for Elliott + Jaybo

would work?

STL has ALOT of Defense depth and Elliott would be a good starter for us; he can at least provide us with an advantage to win games.

The thing is that our pick is in a weird spot. No one we really need ranked in that area. I wonder if some one else would trade down a few spots and give us an extra pick?
