Eric Staal is a pending UFA after next year, no way Carolina makes the playoffs this year so chances are they are moving both Staal and Ward at the deadline to aquire more picks and prospects. no way i see them doing this. how about the Leafs trade away there pick since they have abanded a re build so many times in the past why not now?
