My parents are very clingy, I'm 26 and if they had their way I'd still be living at home.

So with that in mind, I'm going to cover my kids until they're done school. One degree/diploma/certificate only. After that, they'd better find a job ASAP.

(frank) that noise, three degrees are the way to go!!!

Grab yourself a lobster roll and a couple of Beach Chairs.

You'll feel better.

Or at least drunk.

I used to stream and download all my content when I lived in London. I moved 2 years ago to a 4 acre property outside the city in the middle of a 20 acre forest. I don't have cable or dsl. only options are cell phone plans (limited to 20GB per month). Some type of direct line of sight wireless (require 150' tower to get over the trees) or satellite which is the one I had to go with and it sucks. I can sometimes stream netflix, but everything else is horrible. usenet/p2p/sftp are all throttled to 30kB/s ... worse than dial up...it makes me cry.
- vermie22

I am in the same boat... no cable/dsl
I have xplornet which is the line of sight to a tower wireless. I had horrible horrible service for 3 years until i upgraded to the newer service ($400 tower extension/install fee). its fine now, not super quick but I can stream pretty reliably and have 100gb month.

Don't let your kids marry a Greek, Italian, Indian or Chinese kid.

Or you'll have no choice - huge wedding.

- Atomic Wedgie

Indian!

I worked with a guy whose wedding was 2000 people.

The picture of them all standing on the lawn of this humongous building was insane.

IPTV carries all sports.
It also has a bunch of international channels.
What's awesome is that its all organized.
The adult channels are password protected.
HBO is there
FOOD, HGTV, DIY is there
kids programming is there
I think it's well worth it.
i cut my bell bill weeks ago.

Is IPTV an add-on for Kodi?

No one can touch the All Blacks..
- bixll

They'll be tough to beat. Easy group stage. Argentina are much better now, but still won't challenge NZ.

I'm quite scared about Canada. I'm hoping we don't flop. Not looking to beat Ireland, but I'll get drunk enough to get all angry and pouty when we lose to France. Have to beat Romania, and I'm hoping (while sober) we beat Italy.

It's a disgusting thing to have if you binge-watch TV shows.

Entire seasons are all right there in front of you - just watch an episode, and tee up the next one.

My wife wasn't feeling well one weekend. She ended up watching that anti-terrorism show with Claire Danes and Mandy Patinkin non-stop.

Good lord, if I ever tried to watch that much sports in a weekend, she would have killed me.

how tall is the tower? I have xplornet 4G satellite, it can work decently at times but usually is horrible.. plus since it's satellite any gaming or VPN to work is out of the question...just can't overcome that latency of sending a signal to space and back.

two somewhat promising notions

1. xplornet/hughesnet is launching a new satellite in 2016 that might offer 25Mb/s speeds...

2. http://www.wowc.ca/projects
someone is planning on installing fibre in rural ontario and hopes to be complete by 2020.

not holding my breath for option 2.

Eidt the fibre project plan says 100% coverage by 2040...only 25 years until I can start streaming again!!!

Bell keeps trying to sell me Fibe ... until I confirm with them, through a LOT of runaround on the phone, that my actual house does not have service.

I live in fear of being invited to one of those giant weddings.

Sacrifice your weekend to eat mediocre food, listen to horrible speeches, sit with people you don't know, and have to pay cash on top of that?

I think I've been to one wedding in about 10 years. And don't get me wrong, it was a close friend, so we really enjoyed it.

But I'm in no hurry to go to another one any time soon.

sneaker net always works.

I think I have provided my friends with most of the TV series they have watched in the last 3 or 4 years

one this weekend for my Nephew, wife's side... is the first of our 14 nieces and nephews. Between showers, stags, and stag-and does, and new dress for my wife, which requires the new shoes and purse... it has already cost a fortune, and now comes the gift... which will be significant.

I will need a freaking budget line for weddings over the next 10 years or so
