Ur butthurt....

U can all believe he's a 2C and that's great, but he's not.... what GM will trade for him and insert him as a 2C? Would u guys like him as a 2C? Bc CLB would easily trade Dubi for Kessel

- Ur Not Me

How am I butthurt? Dubinsky probably never crossed my mind in 6 months, you are trying to break the guy down as not a number 2 C despite his production. Saying anyone would get that with his minutes is not a valid excuse.

and yes I'd like him as a #2 (possibly #1 on our team). Kessel would't be going back in that deal though Bozak+ would

Guess Vermette is considered a 2C since he produced this year by getting more ice time? with ARZ

you are gonna compare a guy with 38 points in 82 games to a guy with 36 in 47?

It was Kerby Rychel.

See I think something like this is probably close. I will make one adjusent. Toronto takes back a long term awful contract or eats about 1.5 per.
I still wouldn't be surprised to see the main piece be a vet player. If we have learned anything from edm is you still need great veteran players to show the kids the way.
From day one of the whole kessel is getting trades story, i be thought Pavelski for Kessel with a few other pieces included

- Bieksa#3

who cares about that...Did Cole Cassels get an assist last night??

That's probably a better deal then clm got for Nash.

How on earth is 2scrubs a better deal than one for two good forwards and a prospect?

Not a good deal? I would have included a first, but the Islanders don't have one. Instead you get their two pest prospects.

No, that's not a bad deal at all. Isles fans will probably hate it, but I don't believe it to be unbalanced.

Tough to call. Nash was a different situation, a great player who never had a team around him, always gave his best effort and finally had enough of never having a shot at the cup.

Kessel has a history of long stretches without scoring, questionable effort, even more questionable attitude. I have trouble seeing much value with all of that surrounding him. If his contract was lower and had only a year or two remaining on it I’d be more inclined to think he’d be worth taking a risk on, but with that contract and his history…I’d be very disappointed if he ended up going to the isles.

- Isles_since_6

Nash goes through enough dry spells himself and an argument could be made that Kessel is a better goal scorer

Gauthier with the power play assist.

Maybe he'll be as good as Cassels.

called it.

I saw an isles fan argue he wouldn't do Lee straight up for JVR on HF boards.

the typical proposal is Bailey + poop pick/player for Star

ive never seen such terrible returns for kessel. always great to come to this site for some entertainment.

the main pieces in each of those teams listed in the article would need to be:

st.louis - fabbri

nashville - jones

florida - huberdeau OR 11th

nyi - dal colle + reinhart

obviously there will need to be salary coming back, but there is no way leafs are trading kessel, one of the best goal scorers in the game, and top point scorers in the league, for a bunch of crap.

doubt kessel is traded to nyi, an eastern team. and i dont see nashville parting with jones eveen though he will never be a top 2 dman for their team.

st.louis makes the most sense. american connection, and they need goals.

fabbri + berglund + a pick/prospect for kessel.

saw one offer where trochek was the best piece in the deal for kessel. LOL

if the isles didn't have the players on the team that they have now, I could see a trade like that made....

Kovi got a return of prospect in Cormier, an more developed prospect in Bergfores, oduya and 1st. Bergfores and Cromier were bust. But the building blocks are their

Nash for Artie, Dubi, Rychel(19th overall pick) and erixon. Similar deal

Kesler and 3rd for Bonio, Sbisa 1st.

Richards for Schenn, Simmonds 2nd rounder

Carter for Voracek, 1st(Couturier) and 3rd(Cousins.

at a reasonable offer.
