Next year maybe.

You said 3-4 years MINIMUM.

- Arctic_AARDVARK

oh they will try to win

they just wont be good enough to do so lol

I think a culture change is all that's needed. The Leafs have the talent, but have had to adapt to different systems. I think Babcock will completely change how people view the leafs, especially the cynical fanbase.

I can't blame them. If Kesselrules was my kid my blue box would be overflowing with cheap vodka bottles every garbage day.

Someone's a little obsessed with me.

Come on tell me how much AA is paying you since you only defend him by shouting insults.

3-4 years minimum doesn't mean next year.. I'll bet you anything that someone in this draft beyond the top 3 is playing in the NHL full time before 2018..

I would have suspected it has to do with the 12 months of non stop playing/training kids are growing up with these days.

Nothing wrong with Gauthier.

But I doubt he'll be a very good NHLer (if he ever gets there)

I'm not saying he's going to be the next Mats Sundin or anything... but he'll be a decent 2nd or 3rd liner.. gotta give him that.

Maybe it's also a case of being an overdiagnosed fad like ADHD? I'm not sure. Maybe in the old days they'd feel a pop in their shoulder and not use it for a few weeks until it felt okay to throw again.

Tanaka ripped his UCL and came back ok without TJ. Richardey was a 1st round draft pick as a power pitcher out of the NCAA and he was born without a UCL.

In all honesty dude is most likely going to be a Dominic Moore.

If ever finds the offensive switch a Patrice Bergeron is possible, but HIGHLY unlikely.

If you played baseball, you'd know it has more to do with kids throwing curveballs at a younger age than ever before.

A curveball puts lots of pressure on your elbow.

No I know that man, all I'm saying is I think he'll be a 3rd liner. Maybe even 2nd, but I'm not holding my breath. You need these kinda guys though. I see him as a 3rd line checker, and playing PK mins, nothing wrong with that.

There are a lot of guys I would've taken instead of him with that pick...but what's done is done.

the injuries piled up, and it was for a call up, not for half a season or anything.

He won't be a top 6 guy, his offensive skills are pretty limited.

i bet they get a taste in year 2, but likely 3 years before full time players, its the right way to do things unless a generational talent or someone who is way ahead of where they should be.
