Wishful thinking, but would be nice. Stamkos I believe is a possibility. Especially with the Olympics coming up in 2018, I'm sure he wouldn't mind getting used to the olypmic coach after he missed out on playing in 2014. - matt1337
Yup, I'm hoping though, really am. It's definitely possible.
Seabrook would be awesome also. |

Someone said on here earlier, if Stamkos doesn't resign with TB this off season, he could very well be ours next summer, and I believe that also.
Chicago can't keep everyone, I think Seabrook will be gone next summer as well.
I can see the Leafs doing what the Wild did a couple years ago. We throw money at the two top players in their respective positions. (Stamkos & Seabrook).
Babcock being here, also helps us out a little too, don't ya think?
Yeah, it's a long shot, but I think we learned, anything can happen. - MCharisma91
Would be sweet, and Stamkos - Seabrooke is way ahead of Parise-Suter... |

But another play whose initials are NH is. - KesselRules
I'm assuming you made a bit of a typo there, and meant NJ... but Noah Juulsen is still in the WHL, and not really a viable pick at #4. Maybe our 24th overall, or 3rd round pick? |

WTF did he mean about 'pain is coming' then? He's literally planning to physically hurt people - fans or players or both? - 1979AD
You know how when a braty entitled kid gets his game boy taken away?
It'll be like that for 4 or 5 leafs next year. A change in overall character will be had. |

You really think they wait 2years to start ripping on him?
What is the goat slotted in as 2c? I wouldn't be surprised if verheage is with the Marlies all year next year, I'd be surprised if he wasn't. - burn
The media will start ripping into him next year when they aren't a playoff team. If they keep the nylander line together, the goat probably gets slotted in a 2c, and verhaeghe gets sent to the echl. Mckegg would be the 3c.
Trust me, I want verhaeghe to be playing with the Marlies full time next year. He has continued to develop the way they wanted him to. Captain of the ice dogs, becoming a leader. He deserves a chance with the Marlies next year full time but with what Dubas is saying, that might push him down to Orlando. |

obviously, lol. I know that. Just comparing the scenarios
Minnesota got the two best players available at forward/defense.
2016 the two best players available at forward/defense are Stamkos-Seabrook. |

Not sure what you mean. Unless a typo. But there were talks about talks starting to get him being reinstated. I think he should be. - weirdoh
ooppsss. funny how the brain works.
ya they partially forgave him, that's why I wonder if they you let him coach. |

Babcock was in Detroit and they were a solid team and couldn't draw Richard in UFA. not saying those players aren't going to Toronto but Babcock is not a draw. no coach is a draw.

He would be, and it would be around the time where we could start pushing for a playoff spot. Having rielly learn, or possibly pair with him would also be really good. |

that's (frank)ing ridiculous - DoubleDown
shouldn't be surprised
one guy called into the Fan and said the reason so many pitchers these days are getting Tommy John surgery is because less mother's are breast feeding their kids
he was dead serious |

fair enough..but I do think playing for a coach like Babcock would be intriguing for Seabrook (especially with the Hawks salary issues), and definitely for Stamkos. |

I think verhaeghe starts in Orlando unless he has an amazing training camp. Who centered nylanders line? Could possibly be verhaeghe centering nylander and brown. |

Wish he would have got a closer and another arm - weirdoh
Could have had the arm by simply doing nothing and keeping Happ. They let the closer go cause they are too cheap to pay and he criticized the club at the deadline... Even though JB did as well... |
