kessel is not underrated. he just plays too one dimensional. it's like PK subban, he can win the norris, lead the D in scoring, but when it comes to winning games for say Team Canada, he won't crack the top 6 when you have 2 way guys like weber, doughty, pietrangelo, keith, etc.

kessel only does one thing - get points. and that one thing comes at a serious cost to your team (defense). I'd gladly take a player who got 60pts and plays a hard 2 way game than a floater who gets 80.

is it kessel's fault? no. he in fact has overacheived in my opinion since we got him for offense and he sure as hell delivered. So this isn't me hating him. But again, if you can't see why he's not exactly the best fit with that deal and his severely one dimensional game, you aren't watching much hockey.

- clark_griswold

thats the problem... it shouldnt be a choice of one or the other... you have Kessel (80 point floater) AND the 60 point Toews or Kopitar or Bergeron.

NO Team can Win with Just Kessel as the only player who is elite.. Not Stamkos or Ovechkin or Kane ...

So all this we need to move him and replace him with a 2 way player instead is ..well silly. You can have Kessel and have one of those other players.

Problem is the leafs havent had one of the other players

You know what they say about "if you can't find the crazy person on the downtown bus, then it's you..."?

Does the same thing apply here?

for those who are advocating to draft Brandon Carlo at #24:

Better to pick up Andrew Nielsen with the 3rd rounder.

Perry is 18th on that list..Phil is 9th Kane is 11 th over the last 3 years

Disagree.

I fly across the country 17 times a year and I take window every single time.

Im broad shouldered and everyone walking in the aisle hits me... the stupid cart always rams into me.

Window I can lean against the wall.

Aisle would be good for a LONG LONG flight, so you don't have to make anyone move when you get up.

Premier seat is up front in first class. I got bumped up once on my Manchester-Toronto flight and it was bliss. Free-flowing wine, leg room, lie flat seats... heaven.

I hope that I can leverage my newly-minted title in this fashion

I like the aisle. Nothing is worse than having to drag your ass across someone's face doing the shuffle to get out when you need the bathroom. You can get up when someone needs to get out and occasionally avoid pressing the annoying call button to get a flight attendant's attention if you need it.

That said, I'd rather watch my parents (frank) than sit in the middle seat.

I never use the can... even on 5+ hour flights.

Ive mastered the art of knocking myself cold with the perfect mix of booze, melatonin, gravol and advil.

timing is key.

drink a (frank)load of booze all day.

stop about 2 hours before you fly.

start pissing.. drink water.. keep pissing.

take handfuls of the pills I mentioned. drink little more water.

pee a few more times.

stumble onto plane, buckle in.. wake up when you land.

done.

I don't fly for work or anything, so I don't fly often. In my entire life I've only been stuck in the middle seat twice. Both times so my girlfriend could sit on the window. Selfish wench.

Its an interesting list and shows the best point getters in the NHL the last 3 seasons but its not the best 20 best players in the league ranked top to bottom
