Yup, as soon as Babcock said he wanted to control who the club brings in it was obvious he was going to GM, then he said he wanted to be be close to the ice, so it's obvious a dual role. He'll get paid more than any coach/gm combined so he better be ready to make hay, if he fails in rebuilding the Leafs he will look brutal, if he succeeds, he will have a statue in dundas square...
