See I wouldn't mind at all seeing what gudas has to offer for a year. He's supposed to be a physical force, he plays good shutdown d, and his biggest concern coming over to the states when he did, was his stick skills- and a lot of people have said he's getting much much better with his stick. - benjichronic
Lead the league in interference calls and was among leaders in tripping calls. Not to mention to a bunch if other penalties on top of that. This only puts more pressure on the other 5 guys. Id rather hold onto LSchenn. At least he stays out of the box.
A D man leading the league in interference calls doesn't excite be much at all to be honest. |

Sounds like San Jose is out too. I saw rumblings that Toronto is preparing to offer Babcock $8m per year.
Can't wait until the next lockout when the battle becomes a coaching salary cap. |

Until they found out they are last team standing and offer him $8 instead. |

Why deal Gudas? - nails
Our D has a hard enough time as it is. Now make guys play more minutes because Gudas can't stay out of the box. Oh and also consider our crappy PK that has to come out every time.
The guy is a hitting highlight reel. Which is nice. But that's not all that indicative of his game to game play. I'll give him a chance but the leesh on him should be just as short as Rinaldo's. |

I'm sure some other teams would get back in, in that case. Arizona might even be able to match that. |

This is what I hope to see. I am in the minority but I would like to see them keep Schenn.

They asked Hextall how to fix the defense, and he said: It's simple - trade the Grossmann. |

Sportsnet is reporting it's down to St. Louis and Toronto but Babcock said taking a job from a current coach is distasteful so I'm thinking Toronto. They're saying the Leafs jet is in the air.
But you know... it's Toronto radio. |

If that is true, I wonder how Ken Hitchcock feels about St. Louis talking to Babcock, while he is still the coach of St. Louis? |

Speaking of coaches in limbo, the new Bruins GM said Julien is the coach of the Bruins "for today", and isn't ready to make a decision. |

Any mention of if its a 1 way or 2 way deal? I would guess 1 way and that would give us what 8 guys on 1 way deals?
What about bringing back Gus? He'd be cheap and effective. You could move high price dman like Streit and then a Grossmann and save yourself roughly 5 million in cap hit while still adding depth. |

I would like to see if they can turn that around for him.
Interference and tripping penalties are skating penalties. skate more and you take less of them unless you are a turtle.
Zac is just full of stupid penalties |

Remember that series after the lockout - Landsbergfan
I remember Game 4 of the 07/08 Pens series when he beat the piss out of the dude after Upshall charged a player late in the game.
And him popping a few of Crosby's baby teeth out. |
