Yeah, it was a weird window. Lot of people wanted them to use it on either Kelly or McQuaid, but neither were healthy at the time of the window, thus ineligible for it.

Kelly I can understand... But McQuaid? What was his cap hit like 1.5m? Dont really understand how that would have made a lot of sense. Only reason Kelly made sense was because we were paying him so much to be a 4th line player. They should have bought out Chara!

Loui's one of the few bright spots on the team. Last year was a disaster due to concussions, but this year he put up the second most points on the team while logging mainly 3rd line minutes. I think he could return to 60+ point seasons like he had in Dallas if he's played consistently with Bergeron (ideally) or Krejci next year.

Eriksson is a fine fit on the B's. He's played great in the recent tournament but he'll never put up great numbers in Julien's system. That's not a knock on Claude its just the style he employs and has proven to win with over his tenure in Boston. The B's won't make any trades of note I doubt because of there cap issues and the roster is pretty solid overall. They could use more speed but I have a feeling that the B's will be in the playoffs next year when they can get some luck with injuries next year.

Chara has indeed slowed down considerably in the last few years but last year was an anomaly and will look better, and so will Seidenberg. If Connelly can llive up to his potential or at least fulfill some level of it, then he should be good for 20-25 goals and he could MAYBE fill the 1st line RW. Eriksson can play on the 2nd or 3rd and so can Pasta.

A lot of belief in the idea this team will be fine with third/fourth line and 4-6 D-men "tweaks."

After next season, when we are booted from the first round of the playoffs, is everyone going to be okay with firing Julein?

We won't even have to debate Lucic OR Ericksson because they will be signing elsewhere.

I do not disagree with getting rid of #33 and #44. I keep 17. I would look to trade #46 7.2M is too much $.
