It was all staged. She used a $75 guitar and SNL rigged up a fake monitor for her. The guitar company apparently gave her their blessing, and told her that they build their guitars to be tough and they she'd have a really hard time destroying it.

I'm surprised you didn't hear about it. Stern was talking about it on a couple of shows the other week after it happened. He even brought it up with Dave Grohl when the Foo Fighters were on.

It became a thing because she's active on social media and a lot were unhappy with her doing it. Even David Crosby got into an online row with her about it. I just think it's lame in a funny way because it was so staged. If she was really wanted to be rock-n-roll about it, she should have just been spontaneous about it and sacrificed one of her nicer guitars and amps.

also along those same lines, i am on the G6 today, which is also called "jet fuel" for the smell of this one. this one is way more sativa and i want to do a bunch of things around the house today so i'm flying on the g6 all day today. i'll probably try to pair it with something that will keep me going. maybe some rage against the machine.
