And envious:

The legal stuff down here, for medical use only, is a joke. So restrictive who can get it; only a few afflictions that will qualify someone. So much red tape and costs to get approval for those who do qualify. And then you're added to a registry where anyone, for a price, can access and know that you're approved (how that doesn't violate the federal HIPAA laws, I don't know).

And the product: Also expensive and only can get it from the state licensed dispensaries, and it's all low THC. And you can't inspect the actual product until purchased. The dispensaries aren't allowed to use clear packaging at all. And it all has to be pre-packaged.

Of course, it's illegal for insurance to pay for any of the costs.
