Benning may be active in the market; however, there is a difference between quality and quantity. Thus far he's managed the latter but is unfortunately lacking in the former - at least at this time.

I think he had a lot of fighting majors in the past two years, 11 last year I believe? That's more than I had in one year

I think Benning is building a young AHL team to feed the NHL team and he wants some fighters on the team? This kid will undoubtedly play East Coast League. IMO this has little to do with the Canucks.
