Friend of mine works for the Municipality of Delta, his co-worker got fired because he was caught by his supervisor screwing his girlfriend in one of the city's trucks. Got his job back... again, a good labour lawyer does wonders.

EDIT: I'm not saying I don't think he should be fired or that I condone what he did, I'm only saying that he's likely going to get his job back if he files a wrongful dismissal lawsuit and gets a good labour lawyer.

I don't think the guy should lose his job. The guy isn't going to have much luck with the ladies for the next while- known for all the wrong reasons.

Nobody got hurt. The reporter said she is tired of people (ass hats) doing it all the time.

There are bigger fish to fry. Corrupt officials, stuffed shirts and such. If he was a Senator...

Anyway, too many people want to see others fired for feckups. When there are bigger feckups that impact more people don't result in that person being terminated. Tarjay anyone?

Anyway, gotta go write a letter to the local fast food place because that pimply faced dipsh!t fecked up my order again.

We picked the wrong franchise to Replicate.

People always talked about wanting to imitate the Detroit and Boston model.

Screw those franchises we should have copied Winnipeg and Anaheim.

Or..orrrrr just draft the best talent and make smart management decisions and have other teams trying to copy a "Canucks model"

romantic

That's easily defendable. Could say they are trying to have baby and have to do it when she is ovulating.

I had a buddy that was arrested for transporting dope, got convicted, house arrest, he had to wear an ankle bracelet. His lawyer argued it would be cruel if my buddy couldn’t take his dog out to pee. So the judge allowed leaving home for work and walking dog only.

So my friend just took his dog everywhere he went. Problem solved.

But the guy on TV dropping the profanity bomb doesn’t have a defense unless he’s got Tourettes. “Because everyone else did it” is not a rational defense.

But she singled him out when others were also doing the same thing. He could say that she picked him out because he happened to be a WASP male and ignored I believe a woman and a couple other males who were saying the same thing. Again, I'm not condoning what he did, nor do I think he shouldn't be fired, I'd fire him too if he worked for me. I just know that a decent labour lawyer (and in fact, I believe that HydroOne is unionized so he'd be grieving it no matter what) would easily be able to get his job back.

Brilliant cast, you really must see this flick before you die (not inferring that it's going to happen anytime soon but you never know lol... kidding! you know we lovesks yasks, ya crazy bastid )

P..s other than Christopher Guest's portrayal of Nigel Tufnel, my favourite character was Derick Smalls (the basist - which is played by the perennial voice-over genius, Harry Shearer - he does a multitude of voices on the Simpsons. Pure genius)

I think we have similar taste in movies.

Best in Show was filmed here in vancouver. Great scene with Eugene Levy driving through Surrey and saying "what a poop hole".

Absolutely - great minds think alike? or is it fools seldom differ? lol.. let's go with the first one

Yah, that scene was classic

Man, those were some great flicks - such a brilliant, creative cast (did you know a lot of the scenes were improvised? that is, in Spinal Tap and Best in Show, and I'm sure also in Guffman and Mighty Wind). A lot of comedic talent involved.

I think Spinal Tap still stands out as one of the funniest movies ever made (I suppose I"m a little biased as I used to play in a band and therefore got a lot of the 'in' jokes but nonetheless you don't have to have a musical background to truly enjoy this masterpiece overall
