We beat you in 6 games without our best player and have a better group of young players than you plus a higher 1st rounder this year and way more picks.

That's fine and I do agree that it's nice to have scouting-oriented GM for a team in the Canucks position, but just because he loves scouting, that doesn't make him the best scout ever otherwise Boston and Buffalo would have had perfect drafts while he worked for them.

Vey hasn't worked out yet, especially since he was basically traded for Garrison who is a top 4 d-man. Clendening has been outplayed in the AHL this year by Seguinetti and Corrado according to people who watch them regularly. Sven and Pedan look like good moves so far though.

I just can't help but feel like some people are still in the honeymoon phase with Benning and are afraid to critique him, if Gillis was in this current Subban situation, I bet some people here would already be calling him out for not being good with dealing with other people or whatever.

The honeymoon is over for me. I like Sbisa signing not the cash thrown at him. Also Dorsett was a good deal.

Benning knew what he was getting into when he took over this club. Give him a few seasons to unhandcuff some of the NTC's and go from there. We had five new player additions under Benning this season there is no reason not to expect the same amount of changes for next year. Relax dude...Tuesday...

Last year was his season of orientation. This year he has to get down to business . Like I said yesterday , if he waits for contracts to expire , that he didn't sign, he will be out of work before that

Greetings from across the pond at the end of a day that was chock full of hockey for me.

Ya but we had Sbisa, too much of a handicap for any team to overcome, no matter how good they are.

If cash is what you equate to writing a good song then hey ...more power to ya...

I have written good songs, I would prefer the millions. I do believe if I had smooth Carmel skin and supple breasts we would not be having this discussion.
