I wonder what playing with Tanev would do to him

Sven needs to come into camp ready to go. If he doesn't make this team out of camp we've got problems.

From the Vey article the other day, in The Province I think,, he should be our checking centre and Horvat an offensive centre along with Bonino and hank. From vantel, I think, Kesler played selfishly cuz he didn't have legit wingers, Bonino better get a couple otherwise he's gonna be a waste on this team. Higgins should be traded for a younger more skillful player that needs seasoning.

Trade Bieksa, Higgins, Edler for young players with potential, preferably at least one centre (for Edler) who can replace hank, at the deadline or off season whichever gets maximum value. Put Sbisa with Tanev.

Also, Q has got to be the best coach in the league or in the top three. The guy does play chess, while guys like A/V are stuck playing checkers.

From the previous blog: totally agree, I treated you quite poorly for a while after you changed your attitude and I was totally out of line. Back to hockey - I think Edler is a long shot to be moved as it would really signal to me that management was going to blow it up. He should probably be the one to go over Hamhuis though, as I think he won't age all that well, and he doesn't really ooze leadership to me

It is almost a good thing to miss the playoffs, even if they say they are retooling. As long as there is some change in the lineup, I don't care what it is called.

I think I will be happy if they move Bieksa, Edler, Sbisa, or Weber. If Higgins is moved then I will consider the off season a success. If Miller is gone, my arms will be full of bruises from all the pinching.

I don't really consider Weber a move as it just means he doesn't get signed. Sbisa and Edler are long shots to be traded I think. Bieksa I hope is gone, and Hamhuis is a borderline possibility

After Tanev, I'd rather keep Hamhuis. That is if we are getting some picks back. Just looking for a rebuild on the backend, we can retool the forwards...
