I hate my job! Sent out two emails yesterday, things are slow, surf the net all day long - thankfully I had an interview to go back to the Middle East last week. |

I loved how the Flames took the quick 2-1 lead only to have their hopes dashed on the jagged rocks of the California coast. I have a few friends at work who are Flames fans. They were so pumped, like they actually believed their team had a chance to tie up the series, and maybe, just maybe move on to the next round. I f'ing hate the Flames, and it's satisfying to see them lose because of their aggressive tactics backfiring on them. Got to feel a bit bad for Colborne, seems like a good kid, and was pretty down on himself after the game, but his guys had plenty of opportunity to tie it up late and couldn't get the job done. - 1970vintage
I agree. I can't wait for the flames to be eliminated. So (frank)ing tired of hearing the talking heads go on and on about this "little team that could".

Never been, but have several friends who are or have worked there. Seems like a good place to bank $$ for early retirement. A bit too hot for my liking, I would prefer Turks or somewhere in the Caribbean. |

Colborne from HERO to ZERO.
I haven't seen the penalty, but seeing some reactions apparently it was REALLY stupid. - classic321
Just over aggressive (Trying to be a good Hartley boy) on the forecheck, got his stick up, probably should have only been 2, but got the double minor for high sticking. |

I wanted the higher draft pick and don't like Kesler. I don't really care though |

I didn't like Kesler but I loved his game and style of play though he could have passed more. |

It's not just in the game. Every sports talkshow as well.
I think their goaltending is what's keeping them going. I'm going out on a limb and say they will come back to earth and miss the playoffs next season. Just like the Avs did this season after a great 2013 - 2014 season. |

Folks on here have said many times you can't win without two quality top 6 centers. Well, we had that and now don't. Hence our early exit in the playoffs. |

We had that last year and didn't make the playoffs and the two years before and only lasted one round like this year.
Pitt had Crosby and Malkin and made it as far as we did |

If Babcock goes to EDM, they will give VAN problems next season. With the D as it stands today we will be seeing lots of red lights from them next year. "Change is coming" |

I'd like to see Lack playing in Edmonton next season, they've got two second round picks, maybe they can send them to us for Lack?

All true but I agree with the statement that 2nd ligitimate centers are required. I look at the Ana lineup and on paper it it doesn't scream cup champions. I do think the addition of Kesler has made Ana so much better. Look at the second line of Beleskey, Kesler, Silfverberg. On paper you would think this is not a great 2nd line for a playoff team but they are performing really well. 21 points total for the three. Kesler and Silfverberg carrying the line but Beleskey has had a career year playing along side Kes. A great 2nd line centre can do that for a team. |

NYR will get that Connor kid and trade Talbot to the Oilers. We will be trading Lack or Markstrom |

Obviously you've gotta have the defense and goaltending to go along with the two centers, that said, you simply can't win without strength down the middle. |
