Hey guys. Just wondering - what do Canucks fans think of Clendenning and Stanton?
Did the Hawks give up anything special in these guys? |

Not too sure about clendening, haven't seen him play enough to give an opinion but stanton is a decent 7th depth defenseman |

@brendanmburke: #Comets lineup changes for tonight: Jensen comes in for Archibald up front and Andersson comes in for Huskins on D. No changes for OKC. |

Pretty happy with Clendening. He skates well and moves the puck.
I want to see him up with the team next year. |

What a joke. I thought the reason why we got our own AHL team was so we could develop players, not worry about championships or making money. Virtanen should be in tonight without a doubt. Plus i'm sure he could contribute anyways. If pro's can't handle a new guy getting playing time then they're not pros!!!! |

Clendenning looks like he could be a force on the power-play but his foot speed and balance are terrible.
Stanton sucks to tell you the truth. He is a player that is terrified of getting hit so he makes terrible decisions when someone is about to finish the check on him. It usually involves a pass up the middle which results in a turnover.

You don't just throw a fresh guy in there; especially if it can hurt your p/o chances.
If your goal is to develop players in a winning environment, and you throw in a bunch of young guys who haven't played all year, you're hurting the development of the guys that were there all season. |

Disney is also releasing Star Wars Anthology films. They're meant to fill in holes in the story between each episode. The trailer to the first Anthology film is pretty sick. - Gullzy
Only 1 I heard of is ep 7. Theres others coming out around same time? |

If you can't throw a guy that's got an NHL body, speed, and was drafted 6th overall then you made the wrong pick. He should be in the lineup. |

Stanton has been decent enough when called upon. Great 7th guy. Could be a bottom pairing d and I would have no issue with it. |

If he deserves to be in, he'll show it in practice. I doubt he has the 200 foot game to play professional playoff hockey. |

The playoffs aren't for developing your 18 year old kids, never have been, never will be. He can further develop during the regular season in the WHL or NHL next season, the playoffs are for winning!! |

Stanton does a lot better with regular ice time. Clendening is okay. They have to have the right guy paired with them, a complimentary player. Stanton can be solid stay home d man, but don't expect offence.. . Clendening needs to work on his defensive game.
More to the point, Stanton is better than Rundblad... Clendening could be with the right partner and seasoning. |

Oilers have two 1st round picks, two 2nd round picks and two 3rd round picks....way a go MacT.
Benning had better be getting his hands on a second and third round pick. |
