Yeah, I don't have a problem with that play, it's playoff hockey, let the boys play.
If Anaheim can cut out the bone-headed penalties, this will be over in 5. Calgary hasn't shown they can do anything 5 on 5 against the Ducks, but if Anaheim has another 8 penalty game then this is probably going 7. - duxcup07

I think we will see a Calgary team that has more confidence confidence. That being said, Anaheim is built to win now and should absolutely win this series. Calgary is still some pieces and years away from being a top contender.
I'm not saying it was for sure in but the pad is at an angle so it's just as deceptive as the main angle we see
I don't know what your talking bout ...I was at game 6 and we won ..I even celebrated on the red mile after ...there was no game 7 in Tampa - Redmile247
"NHL goalies are really good. If you don't shoulder them in the head, and if you don't create chaos around them, they're going to see the puck and most of the time they're going to stop it. The Flames did a better job of interfering with the goalie Tuesday." - Frederic Chabot
There, I fixed it for you. Ramo should be in for some contact tomorrow night. How will Calgary respond? Hell, if the refs are going to go back to calling it like a regular season game, who knows what is going to happen? - yzermaneely
Holy crap! you really are a whinny turd! - K-man25
Yeah, my point wasn't that Calgary was dirty. My point was it's coming back at Ramo. Call that whining if you want. If it's cool to hit one, it's cool to hit the other.
Now the question is if Calgary is just going to look the other way and take the power play like Vancouver would. Or will they protect their goalie and get called like Anaheim did. If I'm Anaheim I send Maroon into Ramo like Kreider into Price. Then they get Hiller, which is a guaranteed victory. Dude will get you to the playoffs. But he's not a pressure player.
And if you saw what the ref called in OT, you'd know what I mean by regular-season penalty. A little push to a player on his knees in the slot....in OT? The refs were horrible both ways. I'm not saying they cost Anaheim the game. I'm saying they were looking to call penalties. Too bad you can't have the same crew tomorrow night.

This is bs. A penalty in the regular season still is a penalty in the playoffs. There should be no difference in penalty calling just cause its the playoffs. Its no wonder we have the lowest scoring playoffs since before the 2004-2005 lockout. Dirty hockey is poopty hockey.

Hopefully Ramo is as much of a soccer player as Freddie and has perfected his Kelly Hrudey flop. As far as the retaliation, Calgary had the fewest minor penalties in the league this year, because they are a disciplined team.
I've actually enjoyed this series much more than the Vancouver series with respect to the players playing hard from whistle to whistle and not engaging in the constant after the whistle pushing and shoving matches.

Might I suggest you stop watching hockey and switch to ice dancing. Playoff hockey by far trumps the regular season in entertainment value, and intensity. If they called the games the same way they do in the season, there would be either too many PP's or the game would be a tinkerbell festival.

Go back to Disneyland, go grab your surfboard, plan for the next big earthquake just do anything but watch hockey because its obvious you're clueless... Maybe we should just do this...

Forgot how much the game has evolved!
But really as I said in the previous thread, Flames need to get to Freddie and take his focus off the puck. This doesn't mean contact, but close out his easy view! Does't take a rocket scientist to figure this out.
