Why would Islander fans put their foot in their mouths? 101 points after finishing in the bottom 5 the year before and they lost in a hard hitting exciting 7 game series to a team that is one win away from the conference finals while missing half their defense by the end of the series and playing the whole series without their best Dman. Disappointed they didn't advance past the 1st rd? Sure but they are built for the long haul and they have one of the best young cores in the league. We're good don't worry about us.
