It's pretty amazing that the refs just let him dive all over the place like that.
- TypLeafsFan fan

I saw a ref talk to him after he bumped Galchenyuk and made a fake "ooooh I'm off balance, I will fall" look and theatrics that makes that guy that "trips" on his cat in the Oka cheese commercial look like a (frank)ing oscar candidate.

It looked like he got a warning, but that's it.

Trade him now while he can still kinda play.
- WaterBoy

That won't happen. He'll retire a Habs IMO.

I just subjected myself to Rejean Houle's thoughts on what the habs have to do to win.

it's ridiculous.

guy's 8 feet tall and plekanec dropped him with a one handed poke

- dt99999

Plekanec should have known to keep his stick out of there in the first place... but the refs...seriously...

Did you also see that time #90 was hugging Desharnais...the ref looking on the whole time? give me a (frank)in' break...one guy's in the offensive zone trying to shake free while the other guy's just humping his leg and preventing him from moving...and the refs decides to "let them play"... GTFO...

meh, refs were probably trying to help the habs by not giving them power plays.

I think they had more scoring chances short handed during the series

Sportsnet guys were all over him for the dive he took on the Plekanec penalty. no doubt the refs caught that replay during the intermission. but i thought it was well called game last night. they let go what they should have let go.

At what point does Bishop stop getting the benefit of the doubt? Gallagher's never had it and he's done far less than Bishop has...

And I hope the NHL is pleased with its dumb rule changes that allows a goalie to play the puck and forces a guy to stop shy of that goalie and can't do anything to said goalie for fear of taking a penalty...

Yeah, it seemed that every power play opportunity they had made the momentum shift on the other side. Pretty ridiculous and mind boggling.

i think my favourite part of the game was the third period PP. forget who the dman was but he crosses center ice and dumps it in and literally all 4 players are standing still on the blue line as he dumps it in. it looks like they've never practiced a power play.

it's (frank)ing rididulous.

puck going behind the net and the goalie comes out, blocks the path of an oncoming player by going to the boards and effectively blocks off half the rink for him.

they all do it, price too but it's ridiculous. I get that you don't want guys slamming full speed into goalies but that's blatant interference

i liked when Prust kicked Bishop's arm. he writhed around in pain for a bit but miraculously he was OK by the time the pick dropped 40 seconds later.

But at the same time, (frank) Bishop.

The goalies stepping out of the crease should be fair game... make the crease a bit bigger if you want...and extend it to include the area in which they can play the puck behind the net..but if they're outside of that, fair game... Same rules for charging and poop like that apply...but at least you can make a play on them/the puck without fear of a bogus penalty.

then there's no point.

there's no simple solution.

I think it should be the same as interference really. if the goalie is out playing the puck you protect him but the moment you judge that he intentionally put himself in the path of an oncoming player then it's interference and he's fair game but enforcing that is a (frank)ing nightmare

Simply deny the goalies the right to play the puck behind the net if they can't be touched.

Is there a team more allergic to scoring goals in the playoffs than Montreal? I know the Rangers are awful too, but are they getting more chances? Seems Montreal gets plenty of chances and then trips over their own Richard.
