What would you guys prefer? Bergevin trading for a proven scorer or trading for a top 5 draft pick and picking one of the offensive players like Marner, Strome, etc?

Seriously, I don't see MB doing either. Who is he gonna trade for a proven scorer? Gilbert? Eller? PAP?
Our only hope is to see some kids with more talent improve quickly and take their place.

They have quantity to deal from, not quality. If the right trading partner needs enough pieces then they might be able to do something of substance

Tim Bits was losing his poop over how poopty Tampa is and how he wishes ill to their goalie etc. My point was they played just good enough to win. Habs have a hard time with them, no different then Boston against the Habs. One of those weird sports things.

No. but he does give Montreal a guy who can put the puck in the net. Can still play on the 1st line.And if they move Galchenyuk to center, a good player to play next to him that can take FO.

My be the cheapest way for Montreal to add a piece without having to give up a lot too.
