2-2 going back into ANA!

It'll be interesting what the Ducks bring... Curious if BB changes his line up after the first loss of the playoffs.

Meh can't be worse than the jokers there now. Give em a term then toss em. They'll be on a tight leash anyways.

It's not that. With a majority government the leash isn't so tight...

I mean a leash by the people. They can't just go full NDP mode unless they don't care about re-election. The province has been staunch for 44 years and won't accept that.

Ya well 44 years of us putting up with poop brought in the NDP... we put up with allot apparently. There are 4 students, one is 20, elected with the NDP. Boo yay!

Anyhow, Alberta is screwed, back to hockey...

Both the local boys, Cloborne and Raymond played really well. Raymond was generating a lot of chances and came close to potting a couple. Did not see him as much of a liability at all.

How about Bollig???? said no one ever......until right now!

The non goal is Bullsheit, on TV they kept talking about how the angle we could see made things incorrect, and that the NHL has a "model".

The thing that really pisses me off is that 11 years ago the same thing happened, and nothing has changed. Bush league at best.

GFG!!!

I agree I have been pretty impressed with Raymond as well ...bollig too

So my MVP for last night's game is Stajan. Running Andersen was a Veteran move. Pretty decent gamble to take.

It would be interesting to see if Hartley whispered into Stajan's ear just before he jumped on the ice. I can't really see Stajan deciding to run Andersen with 2 and a half minutes being down by a goal just because.

That to me is good coaching.

I disagree wholeheartedly, the Flames were really playing well 5 on 5 at that stage of the game, and had there not been an offsetting minor, the game was over.

He was lucky that the gamble paid off, and even luckier that Vatanen (sp?) shot the puck over the glass for a 5 on 3. The Flames looked absolutely terrible last night on their 5 on 4 opportunities, with Anaheim dominating the zone play for the most part. What we saw in overtime was that 6 on 5 was actually more effective for some reason. The Flames cycled the puck incredibly well, and there were several openings for good chances.

Stajan's move paid off, but that had an equal or better chance of absolutely blowing up in his face. Especially if the refs had figured out what he was doing in the moment and let Anaheim off with a warning there.

We can agree to disagree.

Flames got lucky, but as the saying goes sometimes you have to make your own luck. Which is what I see happened on that play. I would call it calculated risk.

Either way it worked. For me that play has Hartley's fingerprints all over it. D bag moves like that are part of the reason I love hockey so much.

I've said it before but I'll say it again. I had no belief in the old flames core when it came to tying a game late, especially with the goalie pulled.

This team continues to make comebacks. Game of the year comebacks. It took years since his arrival but I think we can all say we are damned happy with the player Stajan has been since this team rebuilt.

Call it Burke or Hartley. They're able to get players to play. Stajan is throwing hits like he weighs 240.
