Jarred Tinordi will be an ok to good player one day. When he realizes he doesn't have to fight every night to be a good player he'll be better off. Not unlike Pedan. Just be hard to play against, that's what'll keep him in the show.

I did find some examples although they are less recent.

in 2010 the QMJHL averaged 6.95 goals per game, WHL 6.53 and the OHL 6.95.

I don't doubt they leagues score about the same but they don't play much for defence in the Q but the goaltending is usually spectacular. Reason why a 50 goal scorer was taken 20th overall. Guys that scored 100 in the Q aren't usually top 10 picks unlike the other 2 leagues.
