Tbh, I think they are in a pretty good spot to make some moves without too many players signed to long term contracts.

Like what I see from Vladimir sobotka. Should go after him from St. Louis.

As soon as they won the lottery I assumed Draisaitl was available. He is a valued asset that could be packaged or flipped for a defenseman in a deal that wouldnt hurt their current roster. I just cant see them going into the season with McDavid, RNH, Draisaitl, Gordon as their centers
