Anyway the coach is gone if this series ends as ugly as it started.

Bergevin is a smart guy. He already got pissed once this year that Moen and Borque were being used so much so he took them away.

Who is next though? Julien might be available

i think next year is time to move to centre though. can't just keep coming back with DD/Plekanec/Eller as your centres and then blame playoff losses on lack of maturity.
- DoubleDown

I would obviously like to have a big #1 center, but honestly, I don't think that would change anything to the Habs problems. Whether Galchenyuk plays center or not, they still lack talent to put the puck in the net.

Not a chance in hell.

Maybe if things start up ugly next season.

Nobody fires a coach after 3 playoffs appearances, one conference final the year before, and a 110 points season.

Nobody except DT expected the Habs to win the cup this year.

Really? I turned it off after 3-1.. Must have been after that

they were together at the start of the game. After that, the penalty box parade kind of killed it

Wouldn't hurt to also have wingers that can score

if Bergevin is a smart guy, he won't fire Therrien. he'll get him some players who can score goals and stop trying to upgrade the offence with unwanted or declining players like Briere and Parenteau.

Julien might be an upgrade but he'd have the same problem Therrien does.

I have to keep this up. Everytime the Habs look ugly I diss the coach and then the Habs go on a 3-4 game streak.

seriously. 40 shots per game in the playoffs and we're blaming Therrien for lack of scoring?

He will get him some players this summer. I hope that was the reason for taking on those expiring contracts like Gonchar and Allen.. And getting rid of gorges moen and bourque to free room for this upcoming season. Hopefully can take advantage of some cap heavy teams with this free space like NYI did to get Leddy and Boychuk.
Habs badly need a top 6 center and winger though and I don't know who's available.

At this point Kadri is an upgrade
