You know you're going to have a good day when you stop at your buddies house last night, pick up some mary jane, and he's got copies of like 15 sublime dvd bootlegs along with countless bootleg cd's needless to say I haven't gotten much today at work... - benjichronic

If Jordan Subban isnt signed by the 15th, he isn't going to sign period before the deadline June 1st.
I have a feeling Benning doesn't like his size.

What can you do? Hope he is signed but has to be a long shot to make the big club. However, I do like the idea of a Subban/Pedan pairing.
What is the deal with Sanguinetti? is he ufa or rfa. Same with Biega. I keep reading their names when d depth is discussed. |

I don't get why he's not signed. He's had a great year and we wasted a 3rd rounder on him. |

Bittner would have to move up to get to us. Ranked 26 in NA in final rankings. And doesn't include european skaters and goalies. |

Klinkberg! - Whiskey-Tango
We need Bittner more then Klinkberg. Offensive winger with size and skating is harder to find. We can get a PMD at any tdl. there are always available. Look at this year alone. There were, Greene, Zidlickey, Yandle this year alone and every year there is are some top tier offensive D with PMD skills. It is the Kassians and the Lucic's that are hardly ever moved and are always developed in the own system and if moved are always at a premium. |

Look at the teams near the bottom of the league in scoring and PP. Those are trade targets for Vrbata.
Lowest scoring teams BY RÁNKING in the league. I think New Jersey, Carolina, Florida, Boston, Philly, Montreal would be the destinations that give us the most return at the trade deadline if they are close to the playoffs.
In the summer, Florida, Boston, Philly in preparation for the season, but Boston is up against the cap (we'd have to take someone with salary like Loui Erickson off their hands).
18 MONTRÉAL 221
19 PITTSBURGH
20 LOS ANGELES 220
21 COLORADO 219
22 PHILADELPHIA 215
23 BOSTON
24 TORONTO 211
25 FLORIDA 206
26 EDMONTON 198
27 CAROLINA 188

Yikes, very surprising, I must say - I thought they would be in the middle of the pack at best. |

I visited the Canucks site, the Thank You Partners page
http://nucksnation.net/thankyoupartners/
I went through the entire list and realized if I had to I could boycott all of them except for 3. I can't live without Canada Post, Cineplex, and...........well I'm weak................. Dairy Queen, I can boycott them most of the year, just not the summer.
So Aquilini..........change this (frank)ing team NOW

Montreal's power play is 0 for 19! so much for power play success being crucial in the play-offs (of course if you have a Price it's not like you need many goals to begin with) |

Not entirely sure about that... What was the price for Yandle?
Price for Zidlicky was relatively low, but he's 38 and pending UFA?
I don't think they are low lying fruit as you suggest.
You gotta' draft those guys. They don't grow on trees. |
