As predictable of a series as you can possibly get against the Habs.

Steve Yzerman is pretty good at his job!!! - LeftCoaster
Wish we had him in Chicago. Instead we have a guy that needed to upgrade the defense since last Spring and gets who hasn't played in a year and is done.
Hats off to the Bolts they look good and deep on the back end. |

I got no ill will towards TB at all. They played well, grew quite a bit and took advantage of our mistakes, its really that simple. We had alot of young players that also learned, but our teams are at different stages of transitioning... TB as a cup contender us as a new wave, quite possibly, new identity aswell.
TB/MTL should be a great series. I imagine the hate meter will rise too! haha. |

I can't wait for this series to start! I really enjoyed Michael's blogs last year and interacting with you Bolts fans!
Congrats on the big win! Detroit didn't roll over like a lot of people thought they would, so good job getting it done. |

I don't post on the site often, but I read the blogs every day and it amazes me how rose coloured the glasses of some of the bloggers and fans of some teams are. Heck, a very large proportion of habs fans fall under that umbrella.
I expect this to be trench warfare, with the team who's best players live up to the title that comes out ahead. Very excited for the rematch. Building ourselves quite a rivalry here! |

I'm done and wore out, what a great atmosphere at the arena tonight. Loudest its been in there in a long time. Tampa stood tall and gutted out a win. Anton Stralman most underrated defensemen and best off season pickup bar none, to me the best player on the ice tonight. Bishop stood tall in game 7 so that is promising going forward. To think Stammer, Kuch, Callahan, and Hedman did not score a goal and the Bolts still won - they are bound to break out sometime. Looking forward to the next series its going to be good, the Bolts are learning how to win and thats a scary thought. Go Bolts!!! |

Wings shut that Stamkos group down hard, I don't think Montreal has the defensive forwards to do the same. Good luck going forward! |

You said sens in 4 too didnt you?
As for the bolts, they are an excellent team but i think they were vastly out played this series and someof their wweaknesses were well exploited. But again top acoring team in reg season, who knows what will happen. The playoffs are a different beast. Habs have been playing a different brand of hockey so far and if they bring the same energy they did vs ott in the first 4 games... dunno if tampa can match it. Good luck, should be a great series. That said i was hoping for a det vs habs... i think the 2 styles of game are rather similar and wpuld have made for some outstanding hockey. Plus therrien vs babs man o man would that have been something. No offence to coops, but hes lightyears behind babcock. Not the same kinda coahing duel |

I think that between Pav, Z, Sheahan, and Glenny, the Wings have better defensive depth down the middle on forward than the Habs.
You guys are gonna have to get that power play clicking in order to beat the Bolts, but Bishop has been shaky, so maybe it'll happen. |

Good luck folks - that was a great game. Just bummed we came out on the wrong end. If any of those 1st or 2nd period chances we had go in, I think it is a very different outcome. Such is life in a game 7... |

He was frustrated being held and chicken-winged by the Detroit player. Stamkos couldn't find his wallet after that altercation. - Artyukhin76
Frustration I get but those were selfish penalties, putting his own wish for some satisfaction ahead of his Team's best interests. |
