i don't know. I guess a high pick or a top prospect. I think the sooner we move him the more he is worth. 3 years of JVR is better to me than renting him. He's in his prime and cap is affordable almost anywhere. He can grow with a young team too, like a Colorado. Has some playoff appearances and played his best hockey in the spring.

that's the tough part. i want Leon, but how that works is beyond me. I'd give up your favourite, Dion and nashville's 1st for him in a blink of an eye, probably not enough...

Kessel gave up on this team and city when he was hung out to dry after Carlyle was canned. The media made him the scapegoat and the team left him hanging. He Hasn't played for them since. The fan base has jumped right on deck. He doesn't want to play here anymore. Why would he, and why would any elite talent? He carried this team offensively since he came. Worked on his 2 way game which is far better than when he first got here, been Top 5 in scoring, but gets blamed for all team fails? His diet and conditioning are always under fire, but he's in better shape than most of the 80s Oilers and they are mostly hall of famers.

We don't deserve superstars, because we pick apart their weaknesses for a storyline.

Big body natural center that can play both wings with the absolute potential to be malkin lite lite.... vs skilled winger... (cause you know.... we are short on those)
