Sportnet saying Eakins could get Flyers coaching job
- VANTEL

Aaron Ward (As much of a pretencious doughe bag he is) Explained it perfectly after Eakins got fired.

Guy does not deserve a job in the NHL.

I could see perhaps Hansen and Bonino (they do need the offense) but I don't think that would get it done. Oshie is a fan favourite and he's a damn good hockey player and I think any sort of talks begin with Virtanen and/or McCann
- Zogg

Then they can keep him

McGrattan is often talked about in a positive manner, until you hear Andrew Alberts talk about him.

- Scooby_Doo

Yea I saw the Alberts interview as well. Pretty classless not to even send the guy a message when you do something like that to someone's life and career. In every sport I have ever played if there was the slightest possibility that I had hurt someone, I made sure they were alright and if I had hurt them that they knew it wasn't intentional. At the end of the day it's just a game.

Don't mind Ward in comparison to his lookalike Jeff O'Neil. Guy is a piece of poop

I believe it's actually replacement gerbils (the original ones just wanted two fifteen minute breaks, for gawd sakes, so they walked off the job )

P.S. Marwood and I could be cell mates

So how do you get banned? I may need to step up here...

McGrattan concussed Alberts who basically went through months of hell as a result, and had the injury end his career. McGrattan apparently never once reached out to Alberts to apologize, see how he was doing etc.

As mentioned, I doubt prospects concern STL too much right now and I definitely don't believe they would be looking for Virtanen in exchange. There is no way STL management equate Oshie with a #6 overall pick.

I think Oshie can be had without breaking the bank and I think Benning can make something work. If he wants to that is.

Hextall is not that thick. They'd be looking at McLelland right now I'd think.

I like Aaron Ward because he basically called Bor Jake an immature idiot during one of their interviews

I could see Hitch go to Edmonton. Seems like a good fit for a younger core, get the D responsibility fixed ect.

The way Mrazek is playing (2 SOs in 3 games), Jimmy Howard could be on the market shortly.

Agreed. A vet coach needs to stabilize the ship in some way over there. Although I do think there are limits to what any coach could do with that team as is (even with McDavid).
