There's some role players who do an excellent job. Hansen, Dorsett, Kenins, Hamhuis are all guys who do their part. Still, if hey have to go, they have to go. It's easier to find these kinds of guys in UFA or through trade

Sedins, Vrbata, possibly Bo are our only top 6 players. If we need to have a patchwork second line next year then two more slots on the roster need to go to guys who have top 6 upside. Start them on the 3rd/4th line and actually let them move up if they prove they can play

What did we expect from this season? Maybe make the playoffs. At best get through the first round. I don't know what's changed. Patience is still in order. Next year hopefully 2-4 more roster players are gone for youth, maybe a goalie too.
Edit: we still won't be contenders next year, but in a few years, maybe. And until then the hockey won't be horrible to watch

I'm hopeful that Benning can make something happen this offseason. Without having watched the last 3 games, I feel like not getting any goal support for lack is what killed us. I think he was the better goalie, with millers injury and the rust and whatnot.

Still, we couldn't have hoped for much more than this, even if we'd won the series we would have been some major underdogs next round.

Lack is a good one, good enough to trade if it could help us get a puck moving D that can QB the PP. Fix the problem in front of the goal!
