I don't get why anyone is rooting for the Rags. I absolutely loathe the rags. My hatred for CSP and St Louis is head and shoulder above my hatred for Crosby. Plus if the Pens upset the rags, do you really see them going much further with that defense? |

What are some of his qualities that make him a good fit for the flyers? - Just5
Coached the PP under Babcock in Detroit, they finished the season with first in PP efficiency. |

Even if it was true, I see no scenario where the Flyers would hold Craig Berube hostage in order to get a draft pick.

With the other candidates available, I don't see there being much interest in Berube. Having to throw in a 3rd round pick would put a nail in the coffin in my opinion. I could be wrong though as Bill has mention that the hockey world seems fond of Berube. I could totally see him getting hired as an assistant, but would a team really give up a third rounder to hire him as an assistant? |

I'm confused by this post. If you hate the Rags, wouldn't you be rooting for the Pens??? Especially if you don't like the Pens, if you don't see them going much further, wouldn't you doubly want them to win this round so that both the Pens and Rags will be out? |

I can't imagine that Berube is on any team's short list of head coaching candidates, but I guess you never know.

Yeah, though my secret wish is that the scoreboard falls on both teams, I'd have to root for the Pens to win the series. Mainly because I think they have no shot to go on and win the cup, while the Rangers could.
Either way, I hate watching that (frank)ing series. |

I haven't even been watching that series at all. when i do, I cringe the whole time, then my face gets stuck that way for the next week.

why not? Hell even Milbury was rumored to be on the Bruins list should they end up looking for a coach. |

It's actually been a rather boring series compared to the likes of Montreal/Ottawa, Anaheim/Winnipeg, and Calgary/Vancouver. Not that the games aren't good, but those 3 series are turning into complete wars.
Also, Byfuglien should be suspended as much as I hate Corey Perry. |

The Anaheim/Winnipeg series is awesome. Every hit is huge and the game is back and forth.
I want the Flyers built like Anaheim. Ferocious and fast |

I understand that. But I also take what Bill has to say about what other GM's/hockey people around the league think of him as a coach.
They seem to appreciate him more than we do/did.

Other GMs told Hextall they were surprised the Flyers were going to miss the playoffs with the roster they had. |

It's not just them two.
The whole team plays like that.
And what a trade by the Pens. Lovejoy for Despres |

Frankly, at the beginning of the season I thought this was a playoff team too.
Don't take my previous post as an endorsement of Berube. I wanted him gone half way through the season. |

I worded it wrong and can't edit it as this new layout is beyond awful. But yes I did mean to ask why anyone would root for the rags. |

I know having Getzlaf and Perry help.
I just want the Flyers play that brand of hockey. It's like a controlled chaos of intimidation and skill. |
