Steve Ott will not decide this series for either team.

I agree with this. He has been good on the PK and his effort is always there on the forecheck. Does he still float that line after the whistle or take a dumb penalty sometimes? Yes, but he hasn't taken a whole lot of them this season. He's leading in penalty min, a ten minute misconduct and only two games will do that.

Not to mention that he didn't actually hurt the team in that misconduct, he just got tossed for talking too loudly.

In case you guys missed the antics at the end of the flames game...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hFYc8f5ggXk

Some of the Canucks players might want to worry about getting fined.

I only watched the last 15-20 minutes of the video.

I saw that... I'm wondering how one player gets 3 10-min misconducts. I can see the 2 fighting majors and the instigator but 3 misconducts? And his main opponent got 2 misconducts.

Outside of the one guy on Calgary that racked up all the minutes this looks a lot like Vancouver going overboard on retaliation.

Bieksa should have gotten more than just the major for fighting with about a minute left. He started punching the guy while the guy was trying to play the puck. How is that not an instigator?

My bad, didn't know there was a fight at end of game 3 as well. I was talking about the one at the end of 2.

Also how cool is it to see a sea of jerseys in an arena. Wish STL fans were that dedicated sometimes.

Stewart got away with a pretty vicious slash, Jax needs to make sure they are both going if he is going to retaliate.

Wild fans are chanting for Allen on every save the same way they cheer for Doobs. I wonder if they just don't know your supposed to wait until you score to cheer for the opposing goalie, otherwise it doesn't sound sarcastic?

I thought it was a pretty decent start and defensive road period. Just need to find a way to get the shots through. The wild got a little momentum after their powerplay. Hopefully the Blues can start to create more open looks off the cycle.

Meh, that goal is on Allen letting the pass through. Though would have been nice if refs had called the obvious trip that led to it.

Never the same game as you, buddy. Definitely not seeing that wild team that's "consistently out there trying to hurt opposing teams players."

Someone please tell me when this team will wake up that's three periods in a row they blow.

Not to mention zero penalties on the wild.

Yeo must have done his best pregame ritual with the refs

Right, You mean like the charge from Ott that wasn't called? The interference/trip on Zucker from Allen....Or the two punches Jackman threw on Parise after the whistle... Or the blatant punch Backes threw at Coyle while the ref was in between them? Or when Backes broke his stick in half on a cross check to the back of Koivu?

Maybe the Blues would be better served to just start playing hockey?

Just sayin...

Sorry carcus. Just didn't know if Anti ever accounted for the no calls that his team also benefit from.

This is a perfect example of Wild fans. You complain about the punches Jackman threw at Parise, while completely ignoring that they only happened because Parise was holding Jackman's stick the entire time, and refs let it go. Or Coyle throwing body jabs at Backes, then whining when Backes fights back. Wild's first goal wouldn't have happened if officials called the clear trip. If you don't like that being pointed out, don't come to the Blues thread.

Your the epitome of double standard. Obviously everyone is biased here, but you take blindness to another level.

You constantly ignore the fact that statement was made in comparison to the Blues. How many times have Wild needed the Department of Player Safety to get involved the last few years? And how many times has St. Louis?
